Maryanne Ware is a learning strategist and parent coach who designs clear, evidence-based pathways for parents supporting children with literacy learning needs. With a foundation in healthcare project management, finance, and structured literacy practice, she brings seasoned leadership, precision, and a results-focused mindset to help families create lasting change.
She is also a Certified Orton-Gillingham Practitioner with a proven track record of empowering learners and helping children with language-based learning challenges build strong literacy skills. Her interest in the OG and Structured Literacy approach began when she realized that many diverse learners needed support beyond the classroom. Since completing her OG training and certification, she has delivered hundreds of hours of sessions and has worked with children across Canada, from Halifax to Vancouver Island.
Maryanne built this program to pass on years of specialized learning in a way that makes families’ lives easier. After seeing how much time, stress, and money parents spend trying to find the right support, she wanted to create a clear, practical pathway rooted in evidence-based practice. Her goal is to help families gain the skills, confidence, and direction they need to support their child effectively at home—reducing overwhelm, saving valuable time, and ensuring each child is placed on the right path for lasting progress.
Before earning her OG certification, Maryanne completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, obtained certifications in finance and project management, and gained extensive experience in community and healthcare—expertise that now informs her structured, efficient, and deeply supportive approach.
